Our Commitment to Privacy
TimeDebt is built with privacy as a core principle. We believe your financial data is deeply personal and should remain completely private. That's why we designed TimeDebt to work entirely on your device without any data collection.
No Data Collection
We do not collect, store, or transmit any of your personal data.
This includes:
- Your expenses and financial information
- Your hourly wage or salary
- Your spending categories and habits
- Your device information
- Analytics or usage data
- Crash reports
We have no servers. We have no databases. We have no way to access your information.
Local-Only Storage
All your data is stored locally on your device using Apple's secure storage mechanisms:
- UserDefaults: Used for storing your preferences and settings
- On-device storage: Your expense history stays on your device
Your data is protected by your device's security features, including Face ID, Touch ID, or passcode protection. Only you have access to your information.
No Third-Party Sharing
Since we don't collect any data, we have nothing to share. We do not:
- Sell your data to advertisers
- Share information with data brokers
- Provide data to analytics companies
- Allow third-party tracking
No Tracking
TimeDebt contains:
- No analytics SDKs
- No advertising networks
- No tracking pixels
- No social media integrations
We don't know how you use the app, how often you open it, or what features you use. Your usage is entirely private.
App Store & Subscriptions
When you subscribe to TimeDebt, the transaction is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. Apple handles:
- Payment processing
- Subscription management
- Receipt validation
We receive confirmation that you have an active subscription, but we do not receive your payment details, Apple ID, or personal information. For questions about Apple's data handling, please refer to Apple's Privacy Policy.
Data Deletion
Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have complete control:
- Delete individual entries: Remove specific expenses from within the app
- Reset all data: Use the app's reset feature to clear all stored data
- Uninstall the app: Removing TimeDebt from your device deletes all associated data
There's no account to delete and no data on our servers to request removal of—because we never had your data in the first place.
Children's Privacy
TimeDebt does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13. The app is suitable for all ages, though its financial tracking features are primarily designed for adults.
Changes to This Policy
If we ever change our privacy practices, we will update this page and change the "Last updated" date. However, our commitment to not collecting your data is fundamental to TimeDebt and will not change.
